International Christmas Traditions pt. 2

The next international teacher that I interviewed was Ms. Jonholt who is originally from Sweden. It was fun to learn about her traditions.

She told me that Christmas in Sweden is celebrated on the 24th of December with homemade toffee (kanck) and mulled wine (glogg). The Swedish call their Santa Tomte, and in Sweden he lives in barnes to keep the animals safe, reminding me of a gnome.

God Jul“! (Merry Christmas in Swedish)
